Rice alumni George Martinez, CEO of Allegiance Bank, and Jack Lowe Jr., Chairman of Zale Corporation discussed the unconventional leadership approach they each took as CEOs in their respective companies, resulting in spectacular performance and the notable distinction from Forbes' magazine of "one of 100 Best Companies to Work For." They also discussed their experiences at Rice that shaped who they are today and strategies for students for developing the same skills that have helped them succeed.
